Frequently Asked Questions

  • What do I need in order to qualify for employment with Maid Brigade? The first step is to come to our office and fill out an application. You will also need to sign an authorization for a background check.
  • How long does it take to find out if I will be hired? Usually the results of the background check takes between 1-3 days. The hiring manager will then contact you and set up an appointment to discuss the next step.
  • Do you require employees to have a drivers license? No, it is not required but it is preferred. We also offer drivers bonuses as part of our compensation.
  • Do I need my own car and insurance? No, we provide a company vehicle and our drivers are covered by our insurance policy.
  • Do you offer part time? Yes, we do. You are welcome to work as many days as fits your schedule, but we do not offer half days due to the nature of our business.
  • Do you work weekends? No, we work Monday thru Friday.
  • What are your working hours? Our employees need to be available 7:30am to 5:30pm. However, this is not necessarily the hours you will be working each day.
  • Do I need experience cleaning houses? No, we offer full training.
  • How far do we normally travel when on duty? Maid Brigade of Portland services all of the Portland Metro area, Sandy, Corbett, Gresham and Troutdale.
